ABOUT THIS SITE
The Department of the Navy (Navy) is preparing a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) to evaluate changes to the basing alternatives and analysis contained in the 2008 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for “Introduction of the P-8A Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft (MMA) into the U.S. Navy Fleet”. The SEIS analysis focuses on new basing alternatives, circumstances, and information relevant to environmental concerns that have occurred since the Record of Decision (ROD) for the 2008 FEIS. Once completed, the SEIS will meet the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 as well as all applicable state environmental regulations. The SEIS will provide analysis on new homebasing alternatives and updated P-8A MMA program information.
This website provides information about the SEIS, 2008 FEIS and ROD, supplemental NEPA
process, project schedule, and new alternatives to be considered in the SEIS, along with opportunities for public involvement. Updates to this website will be made throughout the SEIS process to keep you informed about the project.
Please use the buttons at the top of the webpage to navigate through the site and learn more about the proposed project and how you can participate.
